Every morning a learner at EMS discusses on health practices such as morning routine of brushing teeth, washing face, combing hair, carrying handkerchief, putting on clean clothes and shoes.
The child is taught using the language of the catchment area, at EMS the children instruction language is English.
The learner at EMS is introduced to basic mathematic concepts such as sequencing, rote counting, similarities and differences, measurement, shapes and sizes.

The learner at EMS is involved in the development of gross and fine motor skills through activities such as skipping, jumping, hopping, outdoor singing games, modelling. The learner is introduced to creative arts such as drawing, coloring, doodling, painting, pencil grip, shading using colors, pattern making, cutting with scissors, pasting pictures or patterns.
The learner is introduced to his or her immediate environment, its uses and how to preserve it. The child learns personal care, names and uses of classroom items, kitchen items, clothes worn by different people, wild and domestic animals.
The child learners at EMS learn about God and how He created the world. They also learn on how God loves each and every one, and that we should love one another.
The learner at EMS learns about musical instruments, types of songs and their purposes and dancing.
The leaner at EMS is introduced to the Catholic Faith through stories about Saints and Prayers.
They take place once a year and usually include historical sites, geographical sites, social and civil sites such as: Kenya National Museum, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, National Parks. The place to be visited is chosen according to the program of the lessons, in order to help the children to deepen what they are already taught in School.
We believe in beauty as a sign of God in the world. This is why we educate the sensibility of the children through Arts, Music and Fashion. A harmonic and sensitive personality, aware of the vastness and richness of reality, is developed through the experience of what is good, beautiful and true. The School relies on professionals for activities such as Music Theory, Piano and Singing classes, Painting and Drawing and Fashion/Cultural performances.
Every year the School prepares songs, dances and plays during the Feasts of Christmas and Easter and any other memorable moments linked to the School. This is an occasion for the children to express themselves and to learn about the important times of the School’s story.
The School organizes swimming activities at Kasarani for the children in Pre-Primary 2.
The School is an official Scout Centre and has a Squirrel Patrol for Kindergarten kids; Teachers in charge of this activity are trained members of the Kenya Scouts Association (KSA).
We boast a well-kept organic farm that provides for the School’s needs in terms of vegetables and fruit; we keep rabbits and chicken to provide the children with meat of known and safe origin. Through this project we not only feed our children well, but we also have them practice some farming skills in a fun way!
As a Catholic School, we teach our children about God and His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray daily and we have Termly Masses and Blessing Days. The School is directed by a Catholic Priest, appointed by the Archdiocese of Nairobi, who acts as a manager and guarantor of the Catholic Values of the Institution
